  • Call Me MiSTER program at Georgia College
Here at Georgia College, there is a vision and are determined to positively affect the future through diversity in education. As a part of this commitment, GC currently has the state’s first and only Call Me MiSTER (Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models) program, where students (particularly Black males) are recruited, trained, and empowered to become transformative role models as teachers in Georgia classrooms. MiSTERs receive financial assistance/scholarships, mentorship, numerous professional development opportunities and various other resources as they are molded into great teachers at Georgia College.

Below is a list of opportunities available through the Call Me MiSTER program. They include:

They are encouraged to apply as soon as possible online via this link:  Please note that all MiSTER Fall 2018 applicants must also apply separately for freshman admissions through Georgia College by the rapidly approaching April 1st deadline. The admissions application can be found here.
    • Current 9th – 11th graders are eligible for our FREE summer Rising MiSTER Academy, which takes place on June 3rd – 9th 2018, where students live on campus, learn more about Call Me MiSTER, careers in the classroom, and much more! The application is online here:
